It is about offering holistic tools and information so that people can make informed choices that work for them.

Cannabis means different things to different people. It can be medicinal, cultural, recreational and/ or spiritual. Let’s Budvocate recognises this complexity and moves away from a "one size fits all" narrative. We center nuance, personal agency and respect.

Our approach is harm reduction focused, community led and grounded in lived and living experience, especially the voices of people who actually consume cannabis and have been impacted by prohibition.
Why Let’s Budvocate Was Created
Let’s Budvocate came from lived experience.

After going through periods of unhealthy, unconscious and poorly informed cannabis consumption, it became clear how few peer led, accessible, holistic and non discriminating resources existed for people wanting to build a healthier relationship with cannabis.
​
Instead of shame, scare tactics or abstinence only messaging. Let’s Budvocate aims to offer the kind of information, reflection tools and community support that would have been genuinely helpful for us earlier on.

This project exists so people do not have to learn everything the hard way and so conversations about cannabis can be honest, grounded and human.
