About
Let's Budvocate
For Organisations & Services
Let’s Budvocate is an independent, education focused organisation in early development that supports stigma free and harm reduction informed conversations around cannabis consumption. Our work is grounded in lived and living experience and designed to complement existing services.
Who we are
Let’s Budvocate is an education focused organisation supporting less harmful, more informed and stigma aware conversations about cannabis.
We exist to bridge the gap between lived experience, evidence informed harm reduction, and real world service delivery. Particularly where cannabis intersects with youth, mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), and community wellbeing.
Our work recognises that cannabis is already present in many people’s lives. Rather than promoting or condemning consumption, Let’s Budvocate focuses on education, reflection, and practical harm reduction principles that can be applied by individuals, families, and services.

Our focus
Let’s Budvocate currently focuses on the development of accessible, evidence informed educational resources that support:
-
More nuanced and confident conversations about cannabis
-
Reduced stigma for people who consume cannabis
-
Greater understanding of harm reduction approaches
-
Reflection on intention, context, and wellbeing
All resources are designed to be practical, non judgmental and relevant to real world service settings.
Our Approach
Education before judgement
We prioritise balanced information, informed by evidence and lived experience that supports understanding, reflection, and practical application.
Harm reduction informed
Our work aligns with the harm-reduction principles of meeting people where they are and supporting less harmful choices, without imposing abstinence only frameworks.
Lived experience embedded
Let’s Budvocate is led by lived and living experience, ensuring our work remains grounded, relevant, and responsive to the realities faced by the
communities that services support.
Conscious consumption lens
We explore not only how cannabis is consumed, but also the surrounding context including intention, patterns, as well as physical and mental wellbeing.
Sector aligned and collaborative
Our work is designed to complement existing frameworks and practice models, not compete with or undermine them.
